This has been a wonderful event sponsored and organized by St Andrew’s 72nd Boy Scout Troop for the benefit of the communities of Nether Edge and Brincliffe Edge for over 30 years. Thank you all for your support and sorry for any disappointment. We hope to return next year. “Please don’t bring wood into the park on Saturday, you will be turned away.” The event is offered free of charge, but any donations made on the night go towards St Andrew’s Scout Group to keep it running. The Don Valley Bowl Autumn Lights bonfire and fireworks continue. There will be a children’s musical firework display, family fun and an entertainment tent. Illuminate The Gardens at the Botanical Gardens will run Friday, Saturday and Sunday. It is described as “a magical evening for the whole family.
