This time, however, “The Most Beautiful Moment In Life” evolved. He is no longer just obsessed with a particular phase of life or even anchored in the present. In “Yet To Come (The Most Beautiful Moment)”, the main single from the new anthology album of BTS “Proof”, is at the same time colored with nostalgia and full of optimism for the future. “Yes, the past was honestly the best / But my best is what follows”, V sings early, with his voice rich and luxurious in tones and confident in his posture. “Proof” – which largely contains the tracks that have pushed the BTS to the dizzying heights they now occupy (or demos and alternatives to these songs) – is a time for reflection and reflection, and “Yet To Come” dives just that way. Across the track, a thrilling piece of alternative hip-hop, the seven members weigh in on everything from the distinctions they have been awarded over the years, their purpose and their future. “This awkward title that was given to us one day / We are still ashamed to be called the best”, Suga raps as the slippery melodies of the dance that comes out are immersed in an extremely low frequency bass. The humble spirit that the band is still known for the colors of their reasoning, with which they often dismiss the big hints associated with the nicknames often used to refer to them (record waterfalls, storytellers and more). “We just loved the music / We just run ahead,” Jungkook says on the spot, while J-Hope suggests that, even with the great world view of the band, there is still work to be done: “I still have a lot to learn. My life, I have a lot to fulfill. “ Rinse for ‘Yet To Come’ not only looks back, but also focuses on some of the issues that have remained constant throughout BTS’s work so far. As they rap and sing their story, they touch on the meaning of the dream (“Do you have a dream? What is the end of this path?”), Youth and growth (“We walk towards the day / More like ourselves”). Musically, too, the song turns its gaze to what has preceded it. It has the same emotional atmosphere as the ‘Spring Day’ of 2017, one of the most beautiful songs of the group, while also throwing things even further back. Between the layers of the track, a faint, loud sound is heard that evokes the sampling style of hip-hop soul from the beginning to the middle. When RM raps “We’ll Touch the Sky Before the Day We Die”, it’s as if it’s not just a reference to Kanye West’s “Touch The Sky”, but a subtle, clever nod for all that time. The single is not the only piece of fresh material on “Proof” and the other new tracks on the album continue to be rehearsed to complete this chapter in BTS history. The unreleased tracks “Quotation Mark” and “Young Love” carve smooth grooves and drip soul respectively, while “Run BTS” returns to the hip-hop roots of the septum in its infectious, full of turns rhythms. “For Youth” covers these gems in an emotional form, trying out “Epilogue: Young Forever” of 2016 before paying tribute to the growing number of fans who have been by their side since 2013. “Yes, you are my youth / And my Spring “My grateful friend / My pride, my paradise and my love,” says J-Hope. When an era comes to an end, there is often a sense of finality that comes with it and that is what happens with “Proof”. But, as the saying goes, when one door closes, another opens, and there are many moments in these shocking songs that soothe any fear that this is forever. Just as “Yet To Come” tells us, the most beautiful moment in life will continue to transform into new peaks and, as Jungkook’s silk oath “Promise that we’ll keep on coming back for more” suggests, BTS does not it will be far away. BTS’s new collective album “Proof” is now out
