“It’s the first time anyone’s going to see me for who I am,” the 50-year-old actress told The New York Times on Monday about the upcoming third and final season of “Dead to Me.” Applegate noted that she is “very aware” of her changes in appearance and mobility. “I’m never going to accept that,” he admitted. “I am angry”. The Emmy winner went on to say that she had to “process his loss [her] life’ and still not ‘quite well’. The interview comes a year after Applegate began sharing her battle with MS. “A few months ago I was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis,” the Tony nominee, who has 11-year-old daughter Sadie with husband Martyn LeNoble, tweeted in August 2021. “It’s been a strange journey,” he added at the time. “But I’ve had so much support from people I know who also have this condition.” Applegate asked for “privacy” with her “tough road” ahead, writing, “As we all know, the road continues. Unless there’s a hole in the way.” While the Married … With Children alum subsequently stayed out of the spotlight, she did give an update on her health while celebrating her birthday three months later.
