In a statement on Twitter, a DSFRS spokesman wrote: “Unfortunately the Ide roundabout near Exeter will be closed for the foreseeable future due to a truck fire. “Find alternative routes for your trip.” A spokesman for the Devon and Somerset Fire Department said: “We are currently experiencing a large vehicle fire right next to the Alphington Roundabout.
