Watch the Formula 1 updates live from the Azerbaijan Grand Prix as the day of the start of training in Baku begins. Defender of the champion Max Verstappen has warned that he has “unfinished business” in Azerbaijan, after being denied victory in a chaotic match last season. It’s an ominous sign for the rest of the grid as Red Bull reach the track with four consecutive races, following Sergio Perez’s last Monaco Grand Prix victory. Ferrari and Mercedes are under pressure to respond and the first two training sessions will provide clues as to who can challenge Red Bull this weekend. Charles Leclerc is unbeaten in two months, but has excellent form in the standings with three consecutive pole positions, while Lewis Hamilton will hope that Mercedes has finally solved its problems with “porpoising”. It has been claimed that Red Bull fears the “dangerous” potential of the Mercedes car, but Verstappen remains the favorite as it tries to expand the Red Bull range. “I look forward to returning to Baku, we have some unfinished business there after last year,” Verstappen said. “It’s a difficult track with big brakes and tight running, finding the best set-up for the car will be difficult to ensure we have the right level of wings. It will also be interesting to see if we can improve our performance in a qualifying round, as we were a little short. ” Watch live updates from the Grand Prix of Azerbaijan below:

Hamilton in Brad Pitt’s F1 film, Brazilian nationality
Lewis Hamilton says it’s “super exciting” to be involved in the production of an F1 movie starring Brad Pitt. “I can not say much, but it is a very nice project. We are working on the script and I spend time with Brad, which was quite epic. One thing I do undertake is to ensure that the cast and crew are different. It has to do with showing how great this sport is, while maintaining the true fighting spirit in the race. ” Hamilton also reacted after becoming an honorary citizen of Brazil on Thursday, as the lower house of parliament passed a bill on the issue. The move was proposed by MP Andre Figueiredo after last year’s Brazilian Grand Prix, in which the British driver opened the Brazilian flag after winning the Interlagos circuit in Sao Paulo. “It’s very surreal,” Hamilton said. “I was surprised to hear that yesterday. Brazil has always been somewhere I loved and admired. I had some amazing moments there, I won my first title there, the epic victory last season. “My biggest followers are in Brazil and I look forward to spending more time there.” Jamie Braidwood10 June 2022 11:55
