Captain John J. Sax, 33, was one of five Marines killed when the Osprey tiltrotor crashed during a training exercise about 20 miles northeast of Holtville. “With deep sorrow we mourn the loss of five Marines from the Purple Fox family,” Squadron Commander Lt. Col. John C.
