The announcement was made on CTV’s Etalk on Friday. Jordan Davis said he’s looking forward to enjoying the Gray Cup energy. “Canadian music fans are some of the best in the world. Playing for them, especially with Tyler and Josh, will make for an incredibly special night that I will never forget,” he said in a press release. Tyler Hubbard, one half of Florida Georgia Line, will debut his solo album on January 27, 2023. He said he likes playing in Canada because the fans always bring a lot of energy. “Performing my music for country music fans and passionate football fans will be a great experience! I am really looking forward to being a part of this iconic event,” he said in the release. Florida Georgia Line has 19 number one singles at country radio, including “Cruise” and “Meant to Be.” Josh Ross from Ontario said his performance will be the realization of two of his childhood dreams. “Growing up, soccer was everything, and like many young Canadians, the Gray Cup was the goal. Injuries took me down a different path and now, music is my biggest passion and the stage is where I live my dreams,” he told the release. The trio will take the stage during halftime at the 109th Gray Cup at Mosaic Stadium on Nov. 20. The championship game and halftime show will be broadcast by TSN and RDS.
