While hordes of kids take to the streets to hunt for sugary treats this Halloween, it’s the grown-ups who could claim the real treat: an estimated $1 billion Powerball jackpot.

After no lucky winner was able to take home the big prize in Saturday’s drawing, the jackpot jumped to $1 billion for only the second time in Powerball’s 30-year history, according to the lottery.

If no winner scores in Monday’s drawing, the jackpot will increase to an estimated $1.2 billion that will be drawn Wednesday, according to Multistate Lottery Association Board of Directors spokeswoman Anna Domoto. It would be the second largest prize in lottery history.

Lottery participants have been haunted by 37 consecutive draws without a jackpot winner, Powerball said in a statement. The last big prize was awarded to a ticket in Pennsylvania on August 3rd for a pot of $206.9 million.

While no jackpot was secured Saturday, six tickets won a $1 million prize and one ticket sold in Florida won $2 million by including the Power Play feature, the Multi-State Lottery Association said.

To win the grand prize, players must have a ticket that matches the five white balls and the red Powerball. The record grand prize was won in 2016 with a jackpot of $1.586 billion.
