Lawmaker Scott Perry, R-Pa., Reacted Friday to allegations that he had asked for pardon for his indefinite involvement in the Jan. 6 uprising in the White House. Perry said anyone claiming to have made such a request for himself or anyone else was telling a “soulless lie”. “The idea that I never asked for a presidential pardon for myself or other members of Congress is an outright, shameless and lifeless lie,” Perry told social media on Friday. Perry reacted to an allegation by MP Liz Cheney during the committee hearing Thursday, January 6, that he – along with several other unnamed Republicans – had asked for a presidential pardon following the riots.
