The Golden State Warriors won the NBA Finals in two games each, after Steven Curry lost 43 points in a 107-97 victory in Game 4 against the Boston Celtics on Friday night. Celtics star striker Jayson Tatum, on the other hand, played hard. The former Duke star scored 23 points, 11 rebounds, six assists and three blocks. However, he also shot 8 out of 23 (4 out of 15 in two-pointers) and made six errors. Tatum started hot and found himself with 18 points and more than three minutes in the second half, but scored just five the rest of the way. He made his first bucket in the fourth quarter – a three-pointer with 10:46 left – but missed his last four shots and did not score in the rest of the match. Tatum has scored just 28 of 82 goals (34.1 percent) in the NBA Finals. Its offensive efficiency is a reasonable concern right now, with Game 4 acting as an exclamation mark. NBA Twitter recorded his matches during the match. Doc Louallen @LouallenDoc Jason Tatum owes his team more than 40 games. This is a scary series for him. I’m not interested in statistics, he spins the ball too much and does not score in his matches. #CelticsVsWarriors Michael Hurley @michaelFhurley Robert Williams was 3-for-3. The other four Celtics starters shot 26-for-66 from the field. Tatum was 8-to-23 with six caps. Such a huge game, the Celtics did not have a superstar performance. Golden State, obviously, did. Alex Barth @RealAlexBarth Jason Tatum was 1/5 off the floor in the fourth quarter. His last shot attempt came with 3:28 to play. Josh Eberley 🇨🇦 @JoshEberley I have to say that Jason Tatum has been quite moving so far in this series. Dan Greenberg @StoolGreenie 8-23 for Tatum is unfortunate Mike Ryan (Ruiz) 🙌🏽 @MichaelRyanRuiz I’m not sure I understand what Tatum has done this 4th quarter so far Peter Vecsey @ PeterVecsey1 Tatum hides in public view for the last two minutes… Ducis Rodgers @duciswild Does anyone see Jayson Tatum in this 4th quarter? #GSWvsBOS Dakota Randall @DakRandallNESN The Warriors did not play well in the fourth either. Tatum just disappeared and the Celtics played a formidable attack, with bombs Tatum is a three-time All-Star who just made his All-NBA First Team appearance, and he certainly has the ability to change that quickly. He will have the opportunity to do just that for Game 5 on Monday at 9 p.m. ET at the Chase Center in San Francisco.
