Video of the multi-person brawl was posted on social media and shows two men fighting, while a woman is also seen throwing punches. In a very brief statement Monday, Kelowna RCMP appealed to the public for help in the investigation. Anyone who attended the show and has video or photos of the fight is asked to contact them at 250-762-3300 and quote file number 2022-67847. In an interview with Castanet News the day after the match, show attendee Kelsey said a man sitting behind her was acting “belligerent” before the show started. “He was standing at the front of the stage and shooting the beers that he had brought in there and throwing cans and stuff,” Kelsey said. The show then started with a short video clip, before Steve-O came out, but Kelsey says the “warrior” man and the woman he was with were yelling throughout the video. When she turned and asked them to be quiet, an exchange of views began between the two sides. “He started cussing at me, calling me the ‘b’ word and all that, so I just turned around,” Kelsey said. Then Kelsey’s sister-in-law also told them to be quiet and the man called her the c-word. He then threw his drink in Kelsey’s face, before the woman started throwing punches, but her recollection of that is not entirely clear. “I don’t really remember why I got hit, he punched me once and then he punched me twice,” Kelsey said. “I sat down and did a turtleneck and put my hands over my head and she just rocked and rocked. Eventually, Kelsey says a security guard came and broke up the fight, before escorting the couple out of the building. Kelsey and her sister-in-law left the show to go to the hospital. Kelsey suffered two black eyes, a swollen lip and a broken nose at the woman’s hands, while her sister-in-law received a black eye and a large “goose egg” on her head.
