Officers were on stage in the Brayford pool on Thursday morning and was placed 100 meters. The blockade affected part of Brayford Wharf North and the campus of Lincoln University. Shortly before noon on Thursday, police confirmed that the suspected grenade was not alive and the area was declared safe. Members of the public were informed by Lincolnshire police to avoid the area, but the fence has now been lifted.
