The gunman who shot and killed a teacher and a student in St. Louis was identified Monday night as a former student at the city’s Central VPA High School, where the attack occurred. The shooter, identified by police as 19-year-old Orlando Harris, was shot by armed responders. He graduated from school last year. Authorities noted that it could have been much worse. “The individual had nearly a dozen 30… high capacity magazines on him. There are a lot of victims there,” Police Commissioner Michael Sack said, according to CNN. He left a note in his car with a list of other school shootings in the US, the names of the gunmen and the death toll, and expressed his desire to be the next name in it. “I have no friends, I have no family. All my life I have been an isolated loner. This was a perfect storm for mass shootings,” Harris wrote. Eight victims were taken to hospital with injuries ranging from gunshot wounds to a broken ankle.
