A Newfoundland woman is being recognized nationally for her work promoting mental health care across the country. Louise Bradley, former President and CEO of the Mental Health Commission of Canada, was invested with the Order of Canada on Thursday, according to Lieutenant Governor Judy Foote. The induction comes a year after Bradley, who now serves in a volunteer capacity on the Gathering Place board, was invested in the Order of Newfoundland and Labrador. In a tweet, Bradley says he was honored to receive the Order at Rideau Hall. Thank you @judy_foote for your kind wishes. Great honor to be here @RideauHall — Louise Bradley (@LouiseBradleyMH) November 3, 2022
