The bomber struck shortly after noon in front of Lawrence Avenue East and Mossbank Drive, east of Scarborough Golf Club Road. Police said they were looking for several suspects. Several answering machines reported hearing gunshots at 8pm and seeing someone lying on the ground, police said. When police arrived at the scene, they found a man with gunshot wounds. Const. Alex Lee, a Toronto police spokesman, confirmed that the man had died. His death was confirmed at the scene. Murder detectives are investigating. Officers taped a large area outside a residential building and searched the neighborhood Wednesday night. Police are urging citizens to be vigilant in the area.
