Officers attended The Cricketers Inn in Meopham at around 9.15pm on Saturday following reports of two men being stabbed, Kent Police said. One man, aged in his 30s, was pronounced dead at the scene and the other was taken to hospital where he remains in a stable condition. Two men, aged 29 and 50, were later arrested on suspicion of murder. “The men involved are all believed to be known to each other and, at this stage, police are not looking for anyone else in connection with the investigation,” a force spokesman said.
