United manager Erik ten Hag is keen to bring in another right-back from rivals Diogo Dalot, with Aaron Wan-Bissaka’s future at Old Trafford in doubt. However, the defender is currently fully focused on building the Netherlands squad ahead of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar. And United manager Ten Haag hailed Harry Maguire’s “magnificent” return in the 1-0 win against West Ham. Maguire made his first Premier League start since being suspended 11 weeks ago. Ten Haag told Match of the Day: “He was great in protecting the box. “He is a great player and a very good defender and we have seen how important he is to the team. “I’m very happy for the team of course, but also for Harry Maguire who came off the pitch with a clean sheet.” Finally, United star Bruno Fernandes will miss Sunday’s trip to Aston Villa after picking up his fifth yellow card of the season.
