The game is expected to appear at the Summer Game Fest and is rumored to be released in October and is believed to get three different versions – improved, legendary and standard. Premium skins are also expected. He had to say “revelation” here or announcement or whatever. But you get the point.— Tom Henderson (@Tom_Henderson) June 3, 2022 Modernize [Thu 5th May, 2022 02:25 BST]: After being delayed in November last year, this game has now been rated by the Australian Classification Board. Received an ‘M’ rating for mature and contains “mature issues and supernatural violence” along with in-game purchases. It is at least a sign that it is still well on its way to release in the second half of the year. If we hear updates on the release date, we will definitely let you know. Original story [Thu 4th Nov, 2021 05:30 GMT]: Delays do not stop now! Following the Shovel Knight Dig, 2K and Firaxis Games have confirmed that their regular RPG Marvel’s Midnight Suns will no longer be coming in March 2022. Instead, it has now shifted back to the second half of the year. Whenever it arrives, it will be released on many platforms, including the Nintendo Switch. The “tough decision” was made to ensure that this “dream project” for the team could be the best possible game when released. Following is the full update courtesy of the development team: On behalf of Firaxis Games, thank you for sharing how excited you are about Marvel Midnight Suns. We’re excited to see your reaction to everything from our announcement of the game to the revelation of our card-based tactical battle. Marvel’s Midnight Suns is a dream come true for the team and we can not express what an honor it is to create something new in the Marvel Universe. We decided to share that we made the very difficult decision to move our release window to the second half of 2022. We know that many fans were looking forward to playing the game initially next spring, and this decision was not negligible. We decided to promote our release because we need more time to play this best possible game. We believe in our creative vision for Marvel’s Midnight Suns and we want to do justice to offer an unforgettable adventure on the supernatural side of Marvel. These extra months will be used to add more stories, movies and varnish in general and help us make our vision a reality. Thank you for your understanding – you are the best fans in the world. —Jake Solomon, Creative Director and Garth DeAngelis, Senior Franchise Producer Subscribe to Nintendo Life on YouTube Will you check it when it finally reaches the Switch?
