Matt Hancock is under fire over a £400,000 deal to appear on I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here during the cost of living crisis. The West Suffolk MP and former health minister has landed in Australia for the reality TV show, which starts on Sunday. Sharon Twite, 50, owner of The White Swan, in Exning, in the Hancock constituency, voted for him at the last election but hit out at him for “letting us all down”. “He gets £400,000 to go and eat old ladies in the jungle, Jesus Christ,” the mum-of-four told The Sun. “It’s embarrassing. He’s just benefiting from his shocking behavior. He thinks he can get away with anything. Man simply does not have his feet on the ground.
