“With Henry, it feels like a real grown-up relationship. Like a really healthy relationship,” Millie said.
“[The friendship is] one that we have terms and conditions,” he continued. “I know Henry. He has terms and conditions with me.”
“I’m not allowed to ask about his personal life. He’s like, ‘Millie, shut up.’ No”. And I’m like ‘Understood'”.
“While with the Stranger Things guys, it’s different,” he added. “There are no boundaries because it’s like we’re all brothers. But with Henry he’s very strict with me, which I appreciate.”
“Well, for him, it must be completely different. I have a sister, a brother and an older brother. So, I’m very used to that kind of dynamic,” Millie said.
“I had to apply a lot of that to my relationship with Henry off-screen and on-screen and just take him out of his comfort zone.”
Enola Holmes 2 The director, Harry Bradbeer, confirmed this in the interview with Deadline. “[Henry] she has a very rational approach, but she’s learning more and more to have fun and be spontaneous,” she said.
“And of course, Millie and him had this really interesting, delightful dynamic where they’re always hitting on each other. And Millie tickles him a little bit and surprises him. And she does.”
In conclusion, we support a healthy friendship with boundaries – especially in Hollywood. You can read the entire interview here.
