This vaccine is recommended at least six months after receiving a previous dose of the COVID-19 vaccine and at least three months after the COVID-19 infection. Bivalent booster appointments are available to Whitehorse residents starting October 5 and can be made online or by calling 1-877-374-0425. For residents in most rural communities, bivalent boosters will be available at community clinics in October. People should contact their local health center for more information.
