Witnesses tell CTV News that a vehicle was heading south on Howard Avenue Monday afternoon when it went off the road through the Dari de Lite parking lot and crashed into the building. The building’s owners say the store was unoccupied at the time of the crash. Witnesses say the driver was removed from the crash, but was taken to the hospital for observation. Both the vehicle and the building appear to have sustained extensive damage. The owners say the building will likely need to be demolished.
