It was Pyongyang’s seventh suspected ICBM launch this year, a day after the reclusive kingdom hit the troubling milestone of a record 23 missile launches, the most it has launched in a single day. On Thursday, North Korea launched an ICBM from an area near the capital Pyongyang at around 7.40am. local time. It was followed by two short-range ballistic missile launches an hour later, according to South Korea’s General Staff.
