Much of it focuses on election management, but Hoyer touched on some other topics, including the challenges facing Democrats in between. “I think the voter has sticker shock, whether it’s gas prices or grocery prices,” Hoyer said. “But it’s a global phenomenon, but the voter doesn’t see it as a global phenomenon, what they see it as: ‘This is something that affects me. It’s gone up significantly since Biden was president, so I’m going to hold Biden and his party accountable.” It’s not an unusual phenomenon.”
