I was taking the LRT back to my home on the south side of Edmonton. I had just spent two hours in a downtown theater watching Batman when the moody image of a dark, rainy Gotham City captivated me, as did the story itself. Sitting on a bench overlooking the corridor, I was relaxed, enjoying the warm air from the heaters and the lulling effect of the rocking carriage. There was a scattering of other passengers, most of them engrossed in their digital worlds....
