Sidecar driver César Chanal was killed at Ago’s Leap
Police are investigating a race incident in which wagon driver César Chanal was killed. Yesterday, the organizers of TT confirmed that the Frenchman had died in Saturday’s accident at Ago’s Leap, and not Olivier Lavorel’s passenger after a case of “misidentification”. Lavorel remains in critical condition at Aintree University Hospital. Isle of Man Police told Manx Radio that the incident of the fight is now in the coronation stage. It means that the officers are investigating the events that led to this, the incident itself and the consequences on behalf of the Coroner of Inquests.
