In a news release Saturday afternoon, police said “there are multiple motor vehicles in the ditch as well as multiple collisions on Highway 2 near Olds and Ponoka.” Current trend Northbound traffic on Highway 2 near Meniak Road is being rerouted via Highway 2A and the road is currently closed. Police are asking drivers to either find an alternate route or stay away from the area entirely.
