The outage was first reported at 9:21 a.m Branches have also been reported on power lines along Gordon Drive near Guisachan Street, Bankhead Crescent, Girard Street in Rutland and other areas of the city. Several people have reported sparks where they have hit branches. Emergency crews are responding to downed lines and it appears Fortis crews are staying busy.
