James Clacher, from Bellshill, Lanarkshire, was last seen in Airdrie around 4 p.m.  on Monday, May 30th. 

He is a keen walker who regularly travels long distances and is believed to have traveled to the Tyndrum area. The car of the 53-year-old, a Suzuki Swift, was found in the parking lot of Loch Long in Arrochar, Argyll and Bute, after his disappearance. Scottish police have previously said they were “extremely concerned” about James’s well-being. They added that it was “completely out of character” not to have contact with his family and friends. Read more related articles Read more related articles On Tuesday, June 7, a week after James reported their disappearance, 90 people spoke to both Tyndrum and Arrochar. Now, the officers are asking the citizens not to approach him if they meet him and come in contact with them. James has been described as 5 feet 6 inches tall, athletic body and bald. He is thought to have been wearing gray cargo trousers with a black jacket or poncho, black hat and black shoes when he was last seen.
