Authorities conducted a search from Saturday night into Sunday night before calling it off. The survey covered portions of the shoreline and waters of the Saint John River, Saint John Harbor and the Bay of Fundy. Police say the man went to the Digby ferry terminal area on Saturday. The man is a keen swimmer but did not return home on Saturday night. His belongings were later found on a local beach. St. John’s police continue to investigate.
