Snow and low visibility are again causing delays at Kelowna International Airport. Several airlines have canceled flights to Alberta, Vancouver Island and Vancouver this morning, while others have experienced delays. The Kelowna airport cannot land planes when visibility drops below 3/8 of a mile. Cancellations and delays this morning are likely to lead to further delays and cancellations throughout the day, so anyone using YLW today is encouraged to check their flight status. Flight status information can be found on the airport’s website here.
