Gushue earned Canada’s spot in the gold medal game after an 8-2 win over Japan yesterday at Calgary’s WinSport Event Centre. Canada, the top seed in the playoffs, faces third-seeded South Korea in the gold medal game today at 12:30 p.m. Newfoundland time. The South Koreans defeated the second-ranked United States 9-6 to book their spot in the gold medal game.
