The Cctv Was Released As Part Of An Investigation Into A Serious Assault

Shortly after 12:30 a.m. on Wednesday, October 19, 2022, police were called to the 100 block of Eighth Avenue SW for reports of a woman found unconscious and severely assaulted. She was taken to hospital in life-threatening condition. Investigators believe the woman was walking with a friend in the city center when they passed another group of people and an argument ensued, resulting in the victim being viciously attacked by several people in the group. Officers hope to speak with the individuals to determine what role each may or may not have had in the altercation and subsequent assault. Attached are CCTV images of the people wanted for reference, as well as images of two vehicles believed to be associated with the group.
