Likewise, Drew learned about menstrual cups during high school and had a similar learning curve to Cindy when she first tried it. When she learned about the environmental, financial, and health benefits of menstrual cups, Drew came up with the idea of a menstrual cup applicator during a professional competition in 2018. After winning the competition, Drew graduated, went to college and went on to develop her idea, leading her to meet Cindy, who did the same.
