Toronto Breaks Temperature Record For November 5Th

The record high day for Toronto on November 5 was previously set in 1959 at 20 degrees.
	By 5pm on Saturday, the city reached 24.8 degrees and the temperature could continue to rise.

		We broke another day record for Toronto (recorded at Pearson Airport).  Previous high day record for November 5th 20.0 degrees in 1959. We have already reached 23 degrees today and it could get even hotter.  Details tonight on @CTVToronto on how long the warm up is.

Environment Canada has also issued high wind warnings for Saturday afternoon into the evening across much of southern Ontario.  The agency is predicting gusts of up to 80 km/h starting in the afternoon and continuing into the evening.
