Wrestling Inc reports that according to a US State Department spokesperson, officials from the Embassy in Riyadh have contacted WWE to ensure that everyone traveling to the country is informed of the latest safety and security information ahead of Saturday’s show. The current advisory from the State Department advises Americans to reconsider travel to the Kingdom “due to the threat of missile and drone attacks on civilian facilities.” American travelers are advised to “exercise increased caution in Saudi Arabia due to terrorism” and noted that “certain areas are at increased risk,” giving the following advice, among other things: “Do not travel to the following locations due to missile and drone attacks and terrorism:
- Within 50 miles of the Saudi Arabian and Yemeni borders, as well as the cities of Abha, Jizan, Najran and Khamis Mushayt;* Abha Airport;* Qatif in the Eastern Province and its suburbs, including Awamiyah.’
