Bustami rose to prominence in August after she claimed Vegas cops arrested her for being “too good looking” after she was arrested for alleged theft. The recent 911 call opens with the operator asking the sassy beauty why she was calling. Answer? Because he had just smashed a table over Mom’s head and “cut her throat”. Hend Bustami, 28, in her police robbery. LVMPD Operator: “Do you need police, fire or medical?” Bustami: “Eh, medically. I think I killed my mom.” Operator: “Why do you think you killed her?” Bustami: “Because I did it. I murdered her. I broke the table on her head. I broke the table on her head and cut her throat.”

Officers say when they arrived, they found the mom with multiple stab wounds caused by broken glass. Bustami was later arrested in Barstow, California, reportedly covered in blood. Bustami told detectives that she and her mother were arguing when the incident happened. When she was arrested over the summer for attempting to dine out at a Vegas Chili’s restaurant, Bustami was reportedly “war drunk.” She told officers she was being “harassed” and called the officers “perverts” who wanted to sexually assault her. She reportedly told the officers that they were “trying to rape her because they had never seen anyone so beautiful.” Afaf Hussanen, 61, is the mother of Hend Bustami, 28, of Las Vegas. GOFUNDME Police have been called to Bustami’s home dozens of times in the past year, including one for a suicide attempt.

“Usually 10 p.m. or later, they were just screaming in the backyard or fighting,” neighbor Andres Moreno told NBC. “Usually it was the eldest daughter and the mother who got into it. Of course, shortly after the outcry, the police presence would get involved and sort things out, you know, everything. Then, a week later, it would happen again.” Moreno said Bustami would wander around the neighborhood singing to herself. It suggested that the accused killer has mental health issues. She is a graduate of the University of Nevada-Las Vegas with a degree in Hospitality Management and Administration, according to her LinkedIn account.
