Vancouver police are searching for a man now wanted across Canada for assault with a weapon. An investigation by the Vancouver Police Department (VPD) using tips from the public led to charges against 35-year-old Mohammed Majidpour for allegedly assaulting a woman. “Now that Majidpour has a warrant out for his arrest, our next goal is to get him back into custody as soon as possible,” says Cnst. Doucette. Majidpour is described as approximately 5 feet 7 inches tall, 150 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes and often unshaven. VPD released a photo of Majidpour in hopes the public can help locate him. Anyone who sees Majidpour or has information on his whereabouts is asked to call 911 and stay away from him.
